In 2022, I came together with a wonderful group of Montreal doulas to create the Doula Circle. Regardless of whether you need birth doula or postpartum doula support, you’ll find just the right fit for you in our Doula Circle. No matter if you choose to give birth in the hospital, in a birthing center or at home, we here to support you and your family in birthing your way.

Why I Decided to Become a Mentor
When I began my journey as a birth doula, I was lucky to have an incredible mentor and teacher by my side, Rivka Cymbalist. Rivka guided me with her extensive knowledge, inspired me to tap into the transformational power of birth and gave me invaluable insights into what it really means to serve as birth doula.
Now, I am so excited to be able to take on that role for other aspiring doulas. It’s my humble way of giving back and sharing my learnings with other birth workers who are passionate about providing evidence-based, intuitive care for families.

1 : 1 Coaching
Throughout our mentorship relationship, you will benefit from coaching and regular check-in opportunities to make sure your questions and concerns are addressed quickly.
Available Anywhere
Mentorship is open to birth doulas in the Greater Montreal area and to birth doulas who live further away and are open to virtual mentorship.

Package Includes
3 months of bi -weekly 1h virtual mentor sessions (6h total)
Guidance in intake and prenatal meetings with 5 birth clients, including on call in real time while you offer doula support in labour and birth
3 SE sessions to support your nervous system regulation. For integration of your lived experience as a birth doula
Mentorship is offered for new doulas with a completed birth doula certification.

There are rare, gifted people in this world who emanate both skill and passion in their profession. Mika Rock is one of these innately magnetic and special people. She cares deeply for you and loves her work. She is a library of information and has a background in science which we both appreciated. She made herself readily available from the beginning - from answering my pregnancy questions, checking in with me after my Dr. appointments, easing worries to helping with labor induction methods, the birth itself and also nurturing my postpartum needs (breastfeeding and emotional support).
